After-Hours Propane Installation Services

Hi, I’m Ken Pelletier, a licensed Massachusetts propane installer with over 10 years of experience in the propane industry and a strong commitment to performing every job with safety as the top priority.

I didn’t start out in propane; my career began by transporting heating oil, and honestly, I knew very little about propane. When I was first approached to operate a propane truck, I hesitated. I felt nervous — even a bit afraid — because I was aware of the serious risks associated with ignoring safety. After taking a week to consider it, I accepted the challenge, promising myself to learn everything possible and never compromise on safety. That promise continues to guide every job I perform today.

Over the years, I have provided a variety of propane installation services, delivering propane with bulk transport bobtails and tractor trailers while installing systems of all sizes and types:

- Small piping jobs and appliance connections

- Complete new-home construction gas piping

- Pool heaters, generators, garage heaters, outdoor kitchens

- Furnaces, water heaters, and fireplaces

- Above-ground and underground propane tanks

- Underground gas lines

During my time in the field, customers consistently expressed the need for reliable, professional help after 5 p.m. and on weekends—when they were actually home. This feedback inspired me to start Blue Ember LP, an independent business dedicated to providing propane services during those hours, so you don’t have to take time off work or leave your home unattended.

My current availability is as follows:

- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

- Wednesday: Off

- Friday: By appointment only after 5:00 p.m.

- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

I am fully licensed, insured, and registered as a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor. Safety is not just a checklist for me; it serves as the foundation of everything I do. Every propane installation is completed to the highest code standards, pressure-tested, and performed with your family's long-term safety in mind. My straightforward goal is to finish every job knowing the system is installed correctly and will protect the people living there for years to come.
